"You Can Read It!", version 1.0 is released!
November 30, 2015
It has happened! The initial version of “You Can Read It!” app for Android has been released!
It took almost 6 months for us to develop the application, from idea to the working solution. Eight English books are available to be read, listened (audiobook narration is synchronized with the text) and studied! More books to come in the upcoming days. Each book is hosted in the cloud so they won’t waste even a bit of the available space on your precious Android.
Main Features:
-
8 classical books in English are available now to be read on your Android. (More books to come!) On a train, in a queue, or maybe before going to bed – anytime – now you can read a classical book in English and learn some new words.
-
All books are synchronized with their audiobooks. Read, or listen, or do both simultaneously. Even if your eyes and hands are busy. Just plug the headphones in, and the narration of a classical book in English will follow! This is a great way to study how the unknown English words sound within a context.
-
Look up translations of unfamiliar words/phrases online by a single tap. No need to switch between apps anymore. Tap on an unfamiliar word or phrase and see its translation! What could’ve possibly been easier and more comfortable?
-
Save unknown words/phrases as flashcards for further studying using spaced repetition method. Once the English words or phrase are saved, you could study them using spaced repetition method. Repeat the flashcards while walking, waiting for your turn in a line, or just sitting in the bathroom! Learning English has never been so effective!
Are you convinced to give it a try?
